To create a cool photo-on-metal look, Julie McGuffee printed a photo onto Craft Attitude film with her inkjet printer. Here are a few of her tips:
1. Print photo onto Craft Attitude film. I chose to use grayscale mode for mine and selected a photo with a light background so the metal would show through. Once printed and removed from the carrier sheet, Craft Attitude film will take on the texture of any surface, and a lighter background will enhance that effect even more. If you want to include lettering in the photo that you're going to print, be sure to set the printer to reverse, so when you adhere the photo print side down, it will read properly.
2. Use a glue stick to adhere the photo to the metal board, print side down.
3. Create more dimension with embellishments or chipboard letters.
