Create a Fun, Retro Photo Display

Do you love the look of retro Polaroid-like photos? You can create the same look using Tech Attitude, a printable, stickable and repositionable product that you can truly personalize. Andrea Atwater takes us through the steps:

Project Steps:

  • Using Word, PowerPoint or photo editing softward, open your favorite images to the size you choose. Make sure you leave enough room to cut out the borders for the Polaroid look. My pictures here are approximately 2.25" x 3.25".
  • Print the images out using the Tech/Locker Attitude sheets. Choose best quality and photo style in the printer options.
  • Cut the images leaving the borders to look like a Polaroid.

  • Peel and stick on the refrigerator, walls, tables, mirrors, etc., without worrying about taking the paint or varnish off. The paper does not leave any residue, and you can move and re-stick to any location with ease.

You can also use this cool look for a Save the Date wedding invite for your guests to stick up for a reminder!

Brighten Up Your Room with Tech Attitude

Here's a quick-and-easy way to give any room an instant update: Just print the design of your choice onto Tech Attitude, then trim, peel and stick it wherever you'd like a boost of color, like we've done with these daisies.

Tech Attitude works on nearly any hard surface, and it'll stay in place until you decide to move it. It's completely repositionable and won't damage your wall.

As the name implies, you can also use it on any of your tech items, like your smart phone or tablet. So get busy and show us what you can decorate with Tech Attitude!

7 Days of Ornaments: Day 6

Upcycle toilet paper tubes to create really pretty and unusual ornaments with print-and-stick Tech Attitude!

Directions:

  • Print selected pattern on Tech Attitude into two 5” x7” size images per sheet and cut each down to 5” x 6”. Tech Attitude is a fabric with repositionable adhesive on the other side. It is printable, feels like satin, is flexible, doesn’t tear and can be repositioned, making it a better choice than paper.
  • Wrap the 5” side around the toilet paper roll – it will stick and can be adjusted – no adhesive required.
  • Fold the edges into the open ends on each side and press down and seal all around with fingers.
  • Beginning with the seam, start to add Washi tape where desired.
  • Using glue gun attach lace ribbon to inside of each open end with lace showing out of edges.
  • Decorate with selected bling in complementary colors.
  • Using glue gun adhere each end of thin gold ribbon to inside of one open edge for hanging.  The ornament is very light.
  • Loosely stuff a small piece of gold tulle into the top.
  • One package of Tech Attitude will made six ornaments.

Materials Needed:

Recycled toilet paper tubes

Tech Attitude

Gold Metallic or Glitter Washi Tape

Lace Ribbon

Self-Adhesive Rhinestones

Gold Ribbon

Gold Tulle

Glue Gun

Now Available: Tech and Locker Attitude!

If you've gotten crafty with Scrapbooking, Decor or Jewelry Attitude, you're going to love Locker Attitude and Tech Attitude! These two products are now available to purchase on our site.

These Craft Attitude products are different from others in that they are self-adhesive, so there's no need for a glue stick or spray adhesive to get them to stick. You also do not need to print images with words in reverse as you do with other Craft Attitude products. Simply print your image with an injet printer, peel off the backing and stick your design wherever you'd like.

Another bonus: If you stick your Tech or Locker Attitude somewhere and change your mind, it's easily repositionable. And unlike duct tape, if it happens to fold over and stick to itself -- heck, even if you wad it up in a ball -- you'll be able to easily unstick it from itself, and it will return to its normal shape. And whatever you choose to stick the print on will not be damaged, so it won't peel paint off of a locker or wall, for example.

Teens will love to take all their selfies and stick them to their computers, phones, lockers, walls or wherever else you'll let them. Here are a few fun designs to get your creativity going. Have fun, and be sure to share your projects with our crafting community on our Facebook page so we can see your attitude!
